Through the Ford C3 Building Sustainable Communities Project Partnership, Enactus and Ford Motor Company Fund have partnered together to mobilize Enactus teams to use entrepreneurial action to find innovative, creative and unique ways to address an urgent, unmet social need or problem in the local community, empowering the community to become a more sustainable place to work and live.
Participating teams should execute media outreach (e.g. press release, web, local television and print, etc.) to promote their project in partnership with Ford Motor Company Fund. Media outreach is a great opportunity to create awareness of your Enactus team and your efforts to building sustainable communities. By informing the community about your project plans, progress and results, you’re sharing best practices and may also draw additional project involvement and support.
